Has Deontay Wilder Improved?

This past Saturday, we witnessed Deontay Wilder knockout Bermane Stiverne in the first round. However, does that speak highly on Wilder or bad upon Stiverne?

Wilder came in really aggressive but also very careless as he swung wildly to score himself the first round KO. He will not be able to do this against a guy more his stature. Wilder has a six inch reach advantage over Stiverne, who hadn’t fought in close to two years. If Wilder plans to come at Anthony Joshua, whom he called out, he maybe in for a bad night. Those wide hooks will be countered ferociously.

With all things considered, it is hard to say if Wilder has improved upon his game or not. They say the proof is in the pudding and in that analogy Wilder ate the pudding so fast and sloppy it was impossible to tell if had made improvements or if what we saw was the same old Deontay Wilder.

Do you think Wilder has improved? Leave your comment below.
