Miguel Cotto & James Kirland in Negotiations but is it PPV Worthy?

After recently losing to Canelo Alvarez, Miguel Cotto and James Kirkland are in negotiations for June 18th in a loser bracket of sorts. A Cotto-Kirkland fight definitely sounds intriguing but is it pay per view worthy?

We all know Cotto brings an exciting style, but everyone knows Cotto, so let me put Kirkland into perspective. He hasn’t been a part of a decision since 2007, every fight since then has ended in a KO or TKO. Except one DQ victory against Carlos Molina. Kirkland is a volume punching fighter who comes straight forward and uses his brutal aggression to chop down his opponents. However, he doesn’t have a good defense and gets hit quite often.

You will be hard pressed to find a boring fight of either guy. Both are action type fighters and it will be worth pay per view money, at least more worthy than the upcoming Canelo-Khan pay per view money grab. Anyways that’s just my opinion.

What do you fans think? Are you excited for the fight and is it pay per view worthy? Let us know below. Thanks for reading and being a fan of the sweet science.
