Hank Lundy says the pressure is on Terence Crawford

When Hank Lundy signed on to fight Terence Crawford, he knew he was going to be the underdog, and according to Lundy he wouldn’t have it any other way. He also expressed to us that he was excited about his first time to fight in Madison Square Garden. However, he maintains that Crawford is the one with all the pressure on him.

“Definitely excited for that.” Lundy continued “Yeah, Crawford can sell out in Omaha but can he sell out Madison Square Garden?”

“This is not going to be in Nebraska, he’s in my home area.” Lundy said. “Terrence Crawford needs a fighter like me to push this fight.”

When we asked him what he needed to do to beat Crawford, Lundy promptly answered saying  “Pressure him, look how Gamboa got him.” Building off his response, I asked him if he was confident in his ability to get a knockout. He replied “Hell yeah! Little ass Gamboa rocked him, what is he 5’5?”

Say what you want about the man, but Hank Lundy has been competitive and entertaining in every fight he has had thus far. Will his fight with Terence Crawford be any different? Anything is possible but I severely doubt it.

Special thanks to “Hammerin’ Hank” for coming on our show. Thanks you all for reading and being a fan of the sweet science.
