It appears that after all the Miguel Cotto (38-4, 31 KO’s) and Sergio Martinez (51-2-2, 28 KO’s) fight speculation, both sides are finished negotiating and have come to an agreement.
HBO PPV will be televising Cotto vs. Martinez on June 7th from New York City’s world renown Madison Square Garden. Sergio Martinez’s WBC Middleweight Championship will be on the line.
The fight will be held at the full Middleweight limit of 160 lbs., something 5’7 Cotto claims to have no problem with. Having already won titles at 140, 147, and 154, Cotto is looking to become a four division champion.
With the fight negotiations all finished, it’s time for boxing heads to let the possible fight scenarios begin. Puerto Rico vs. Argentina, let’s get it on.
